I’m still reading People of the Book, I was finding it a bit boring at first but it gets better. I’m also reading Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonegut. Got three books in the mail today:
The Shipping News by Annie Proulx
Enduring Love by Ian McEwan
and A Handful of Dust by Evelyn Waugh, which I’ll be reading even though it wasn’t selected (didn’t get the cute cover, though).
My reading is not going as fast as I’d like, I started work a few weeks ago and that has kept me busy. I usually get home too tired to read, so I’ve been getting up earlier and that way I can read for a couple of hours before I need to go to work. I also went to a wedding out of town last week and was able to do a bit of airport reading (3 hour layover in Philly!).
I’ll be in and out during the next couple of months since I have to retake the Bar Exam in September
